What would you consider the ultimate fashion fail?

Jen: I think giving in to trends and following the crowd is a big miss. Personally, I want my own individual style to define me, so while it’s great to be inspired by others, I don’t want to be like everyone else. Individual style and maintaining your sense of self is big for me, and when I see people being a carbon copy of someone else, to me, that’s a fail.

What’s your current Internet addiction?

Jen: Oh my. I spend way too much time shopping online. But, I’m trying to channel my sometimes anxious shopping energy into more crafty ways, so I’ve been on Brit + Co for DIY ideas. Its a great site and app for iPhones. I’ve made a couple of home-related projects because of it. To me, it’s like a less-cluttered Pinterest (which is great, too) but more content-heavy and guide-driven.

Whose closet would you hijack?

Jen: With my obsession for Brits, I would love to dive into Lily Allen’s closet. Remember, she was once Karl Lagerfeld’s “it” girl, so I know she’s got Chanel in her closet — one can dream!

What sunglass style personality do you best identify with and why?  (Great Adventurer, Trendsetter, Party Rocker, Indie Artist, or Superfan)

Jen: Before I became the fashion-obsessed girl I am today, music ruled my life. I was a music journalist and photographer for six years, and music still has a big influence on me in terms of style inspiration. So for that reason, I need to tip my bangs to Indie Artist, since many musicians are free spirits and have that unabashed attitude of being creative.

What are some of your favorite Sunglass Warehouse shades?

Jen: Anything with a black frame. No, really, I live for a pair of black sunnies. Celebrity styles have a great ’70s vibe. And who doesn’t love a winged-out cat eye?!
