Some of you have probably been listening to holiday music since October. Or maybe you made it until November before you imagined yourself “Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.” Either way, December is here, the holidays are right around the corner, and it’s perfectly acceptable to blast holiday jams in the car, in the office, at home…

If you’re looking for some new holiday music inspiration, we’ve got the 411 on this year’s new albums — some of which are sure to become classics.  Grab your hot chocolate and get comfortable while I tell you about some great new albums that are sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

Justin Bieber: Under the Mistletoe

Beliebers everywhere were thrilled when Justin dropped his holiday album Nov. 1. Under the Mistletoe features many collaborating artists, including Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, the Band Perry, Busta Rhymes, and Usher. It bounces around from funky guitar beats, rapping during Drummer Boy, and ends with a classic version of Silent Night, just Justin and the piano. As you can see from the photo of Justin in his purple glasses, the kid definitely has some personality and it sure does shine in this album. If you’re in the mood for some holiday beats, and maybe something outside the ordinary, then this CD is definitely worth a listen.

Michael Bublé: Christmas

Michael Bublé is adored, whether he’s rocking his aviators, gracing the cover of a Christmas album, or stealing hearts everywhere with his extremely smooth voice. This Christmas album is for keeps. Full of contemporary pop and a little swing here and there, the CD has all the elements that we know and love of Michael, as well as a few surprises. He reworks Christmas classics wonderfully. The performance of All I Want For Christmas is You could give you chills. Michael’s music appeals to all audiences, so feel free to play this one around the family, coworkers, and at parties.

She & Him: A Very She & Him Christmas

My personal favorite holiday album of the year happens to be A Very She & Him Christmas. Even the album cover looks great and I definitely love M. Ward’s retro shades. When it comes to music, this dynamic duo of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward can’t do wrong. Some of the songs are recorded with just acoustic guitar and vocals making this a very mellow Christmas CD with heartfelt emotion. We all remember Zooey busting out Baby, It’s Cold Outside with Will Ferrell, but the album version takes it to a new level. Enjoy the reworked classics. This will be one you can play over and over and definitely take out each year!

Happy holidays! Enjoy the tunes!
