‘Tis the season for crafting! You’re not the only one adding more pins to that DIY board as the holidays approach. We challenged our favorite bloggers to create some fun, easy DIYs with nothing but a box of crazy-festive crafting supplies. Check out what they came up with and try them out on your own!
Just because we’re heading full steam ahead into winter right now doesn’t mean it’s quite time to ditch those sunnies. Although it might seem like sunny days are few and far between, sunglasses still come in handy this time of year, especially when it’s snowing (which causes glare)! To help you jazz up some shades for this holiday season, Emily & Jessica of Bespoke Bride created three unique (and super easy!) DIYs. Read on for their instructions and photos!
1. Santa’s Sunglasses
All you need for this DIY is a hot glue gun and a mini Santa hat (check your local craft store!). Simply glue the hat onto the corner of your sunglasses to create this festive look! Craving these cute polka dot shades? Snag your own pair to DIY here!
2. Stars In Your Eyes
This is another very simple DIY. All you need is a hot glue gun and a pack of star confetti. Glue the stars along the top brow of your sunglasses for a great way to add glitz and glam to your look! Try it out with these cat eyes, pictured above.
3. Boho Glam
If hot glue isn’t your thing, how about using paint and a Sharpie to decorate your shades? First, paint the arms of your sunglasses in a color of your choosing (we chose green!). Then, take a Sharpie and create this boho pattern on either side. If you love to doodle, this is an easy, fabulous way to personalize your shades. Try it out with these retro-inspired sunnies.
Happy Holidays!
