Andrea looking fresh in our #1926s
How would you describe your sunglass style personality?
Andrea: My sunglasses style personality is classic and sometimes a bit retro. I love an aviator, as it works best for my oval face shape, but I also love a cat eye!
If you had to choose one item from your closet to take with you on a deserted island, what would it be?
Andrea: My favorite leather jacket! I live in leather jackets and layer one on top of just about everything — from a feminine, flowy dress to a tee and jeans combo.
If you could have lunch with anyone (past or present), who would it be and why?
Andrea: I would choose Winston Churchill. I love to watch documentaries and films on the world wars, and his ability to fail, yet make a comeback, astonishes me. He was a great leader. I’d ask him what motivated him and how he was able to take his mistakes and turn them into successes.
What is the best fashion advice you have ever received and who was it from?
Andrea: My very good friend and jewelry designer Merl Kinzie of Clyde’s Rebirth reminds me to be smart about my clothing and accessory purchases. I’ve learned through shopping with her you can find better quality, better pricing, and one-of-a-kind pieces by thrifting and shopping vintage.
What’s your current Internet addiction?
Andrea: I love, love, love Poshmark. I joined to sell my used clothing and accessories, and I spend a crazy amount of time shopping, too, while also making sales on things I might not sell at local consignment shops.
And since you have an eye for fashion — what are some of your favorite Sunglass Warehouse shades?
Andrea: I think this pair is way too cool!
