Fall is back in full swing, and so are all of our favorite TV shows after taking that (unbearably long) summer hiatus. As the days get shorter and the plots get juicier, we couldn’t help but notice the amazingly fabulous fashion statements being made all over prime time television.
These past couple of weeks were chock full of trend-setting getups from our favorite small screen stars, and of course fan favorite (and completely charming) Darren Criss was the ringleader of the stylish brigade.
Criss’s character Blaine on Glee recently went from Dalton Academy star to full-time McKinley High School student in last week’s premiere. He’s shed his Warblers uniform once and for all, and by the looks of his bold, sunglass-wearing, oh-so-stylish ensemble onscreen, we’d say he was just so excited to be closer to Kurt that he just couldn’t hide it.
And neither can the rest of us.
His irresistible appeal has earned him a regular spot on the show this season—thank goodness for getting our Criss-fix every Tuesday!
The last time Criss wore a pair of shades while singing his little heart away on the show, he managed to put every pair of pink wayfarers on back order, including our famous 1610’s here at SunglassWarehouse.com.

Since his popularity on Glee, Criss’s celebrity status has skyrocketed, and we’re not the only ones who have fallen in love with his preppy-perfect style.
InStyle magazine recently interviewed Criss for their October issue’s “Man of Style.” When asked about his popular stellar shades, Criss answered, “Two years ago I broke my shades, went to a glasses kiosk, and was like, those are fun. I’m a weird, quirky guy, and those sunglasses are a window into that.”
His love for bright wayfarers is also a window into his well-groomed style.
“I do thoroughly enjoy fashion,” he tells the magazine. “I’m a quasi-hipster when it comes to my wardrobe, but I’m about maintaining individuality. I have a huge addiction to colorful socks because when you have an opportunity to be creative, why pass it up?”

Men everywhere, take note, because while you’re sporting those oxfords, that fitted suit and skinny tie, and a pair of black wayfarers or nerd glasses, you’ll not only steal the groom’s spotlight, but you’ll catch the eye of every woman in the room.
